Teachers in British Columbia have been boycotting the provincial standardized test. They have been so effective that the Labour Relations Board ordered them to start testing. See this article.
Well, the same thing could happen in Ontario. Parents have the right to exempt their children from the test. What if a large percentage of a school’s families signed exemption forms. The school would have problems administering the test during the school day and no labour relation board could force parents to toe the line.
Lets start with one school and see what happens. We could kill the EQAO.
